It seems the issue of Martin Amidu won’t end anytime soon. A lot are being precipitated and a lot of secrets are being exposed.
On Kokrokoo this morning, John Boadu who happens to be the General Secretary of the NPP, has dared Martin Amidu to bring out any secret he is threatening the NPP with. Kokrokoo is a morning show hosted by Kwame Sefa Kayi.
According to John Boadu, Martin Amidu is just a toothless-barking-dog who doesn’t have any evidence whatsoever. He believes Martin Amidu is just saying anything to place a form of relevance upon himself. John Boadu puzzled the effect of any exposition, should Martin Amidu even reveal it or bring it up.
He asked that, what will be the relevance of any exposition from Martin Amidu, since he has resigned from his office? This is really a sensible argument from John Boadu. So, if someone was involved in corruption last 2 years and Martin Amidu couldn’t persecute the person when in office, can he persecute the person after resigning from the office of the Special Prosecutor?
It seems Martin Amidu should stop daring anybody of exposing him or her. It will just be irrelevant. For John Boadu, he believes Martin Amidu is a failure in the good fight against corruption and bribery in Ghana.
He again questioned some of the things Martin Amidu requested for when in office. He asked that, if someone really has the love of the country at heart, would the person have requested for a 10 storey building before rendering his services?
John Boadu shared his grievances in his own government for not sacking Martin Amidu from his office long time. According to him, Martin Amidu should have been sacked long time because he never persecuted anyone for years after being in office. He was inefficient.
He also exposed that, after Martin Amidu was given over Gh¢60 million to employ people for the task, he only employed 2 people. Upon all the unemployment in Ghana, Martin Amidu only employed 2 people in a new office that has been established in the affairs of the country. In his final remarks, John Boadu declare that he is expecting a response from Martin Amidu
This is Ghanaian politics. Does Martin Amidu really have anything to expose about the NPP? We are yet to find out after Martin Amidu’s response to John Boadu.
