How are we only finding out about this now?
We’re in the tenth year of the iPhone .
For many of us, it’s hard to remember how we ever lived without them.
The popularity of Apple’s ubiquitous product is uncontested – well over 700 million models have been sold worldwide so far.
It’s not hard to see why iPhones are so widely favoured.
They’re aesthetically pleasing. They come with a little robo-assistant, Siri. They take amazing photos. You can do just about anything on them.
Except – or so we thought – one really, really simple function.
Being able to backspace on the calculator.
How many times have you been doing your sums on the iPhone calculator, entered something incorrectly and, after punching the wall in frustration, have had to start again?
Given how you could basically take over the world equipped solely with an iPhone, this seems slightly ridiculous.
However, unbeknown to us, there IS a way to delete individual numbers from your calculations.
Twitter user CENSORED dialogue revealed how in a video we feel an overwhelming rush of gratitude for.
To get rid of any erroneous digits, instead of having to just delete the entire sum, you simply tap it and swipe left.
Just as you would with someone you don’t want to match with on Tinder.
Maybe this functionality is in the manual and the fault’s on us for overlooking it.
Either way, as you can imagine, people’s minds have been BLOWN.
