President Akufo-Addo just constituted his new administration but all too soon, it seems some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are shortlisting key members of the opposition NDC suitable for a jail sentence.
Former deputy energy minister, K.T Hammond is the latest to have made such an input. The top NPP official says the general secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah will be jailed soon considering a number of underhand dealings he is reported to be involved in.
“If I was personally in position to arrest him, I would have arrested him. We were sworn-in on the 7th and I would have put him in on the 8th. He is on borrowed times, I will still arrest him,” he revealed to StarrFMonline.
Meanwhile, government has revealed that it will not be centering on witch-hunting and political vendetta while in office. President Akufo Addo has assured that his government will prosecute “anyone” who commits economic crimes devoid of party colours.
