Ghana forward John Antwi recorded his ninth goal of the season in Ismaily’s 3-0 win over El Raja Marsa at the Ismailia Stadium, Sunday.
The former Dreams FC striker took just three minutes to find the back of the net with a cool finish which unsettled the away side.
But El Raja Marsa came into the game strongly and were able to hold their fort as the first half ended 1-0.
The 2008 Africa Cup of Nations best player Hosni Abd-Rabou who was pulling the strings in the midfield of Ismaili netted the second in the 63rd minute before Mahmud Abdel-Aziz killed the game in the 70th minute.
Antwi scored 11 goals to win the goal king diadem in Egypt last season and seems to be on the path to retain the award.
