Ghanaian duo of Kamal Issah and Ernest Asante steered their Norwegian side, Staebik SC, away from the drop zone.
The pair both lasted the full throttle in a crucial 1-2 away triumph at Lillestrom to end their dreadful form in the division.
Staebik endured a nightmare start to the season that saw them win just one out of their opening ten league matches.
Mousa Njie opened the scoring for the relegation-threatened visitors before turning provider for Agon Mehmedi’s late winner after the host had levelled through substitute Jorgen Kolstad.
Staebik moved out of the bottom three after recording only the fourth win in 15 attempts.
