Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka is thoroughly enjoying himself in north London following his big-money summer move.

The Switzerland international joined Arsenal from Borussia Monchengladbach in a £35million close-season move and has hit the ground running in his opening months at the Emirates.

Xhaka has scored twice – including a thunderbolt against Hull – in nine games for his new club, impressing fans and pundits alike.

Although there is some frustration amongst prominent Arsenal commentators that Xhaka has only started three Premier League games, the 24-year-old insists things could not going better in north London.

‘I’m really enjoying it here,’ he said in a Twitter Q&A with supporters. 

‘Everything goes as planned, and things are really well planned here, regardless of if we are playing home or away.
