President Mahama lost the 2016 election to the opposition, NPP and will be leaving office on January 7 for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Following the Electoral Commission announcing Mahama’s loss on Friday, the president of Ghana went to church with his family on Sunday for a thanksgiving service.
