But we learnt to deal seeing as we could do absolutely nothing about it. Since then, Nigerians have been waiting for the President’s resumption to the office today to try to fix the country and also dispel rumours that have been circulating on social media about his ill health, something similar to what happened to President Yar’adua.

But this wasn’t the case as the Cable Nigeria reported that the president won’t be returning and his leave was now indefinite.

According to Femi Adesina, the president’s spokesman

President Muhammadu Buhari has written to the national assembly today, February 5, 2017, informing of his desire to extend his leave in order to complete and receive the results of a series of tests recommended by his doctors.  The president had planned to return to Abuja this evening, but was advised to complete the test cycle before returning. The notice has since been dispatched to the senate president, and speaker, house of representatives

Until the president returns home, Vice president Yemi Osibajo will act as president. What do you think about this?

On a lighter note, here are a few times President Buhari and Vice President Buhari were bro goals.
