Last week, a Civil Engineering student in JKUAT was found murdered.
Grace Nduta Mwaura had been reported missing on January 29 before police found her body parts stuffed in a bucket and hidden in the ceiling of their house in Kahawa Sukari. Shockingly, more body parts were discovered at a coffee plantation in Juja.
The late engineering student’s eyes were gouged out and her tongue cut out. Most of the body and face had been skinned and the best bet was that it had been a ritual killing.
However, police are now saying that the deceased had quarreled with her brother over a Weetabix meal before her death. They say the brother, Charles Kibe Mwaura, got mad when his sister made fun of him for eating her Weetabix. For real?
The brother is currently admitted at a Nairobi hospital after also attempting to take his own life by stabbing himself in the stomach. Ruiru police boss Isaac Thuranira, says the brother already confessed to the murder.
