11 Wonder Working Tricks Using Household Products That You Need To Know


Did you know that you can use some of your common household products for some quick fixes?

You can use basic household products for some and save money you would have used to buy new products. You can easily use stuff in your kitchen or bathroom for certain beauty and fashion related things. And the great thing is that you will be able to save money.

Here are some of them:


1. Banana peels.

Use banana peels to whiten your teeth. Rub the inside of a banana peel along your bottom and top teeth for about a minute and let it sit for at least 10 minutes. Then use a dry toothbrush and brush. Do this a few times every week and in a couple of months, your teeth will be significantly lightened. No need to buy a teeth lightening toothpaste.

2. A pumice stone.

Have a sweater with some fuzz? Use a pumice stone to remove it, it is actually the best way to de-fuzz and de-pill sweaters and fleece jackets.

3. Use White Vinegar.

To clean your tarnished silverware and jewelry.  Soak them in 1/2 cup white vinegar mixed with 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Do this 2-3 hours and then rinse them under cold water, and dry thoroughly.

4. Hairdryer.

Are your shoes too tight? Wear them with thick socks and blast them with the dryer for instant expansion.

5. Tea bags.

Use a teabag to soothe inflamed skin and reduce the pain of razor burn.

6. Hairspray.

If you love looking fabulous in stockings you know how easy it is to get runs and holes. Spritz your tights and stockings with cheap hairspray to avoid the runs.

7. Distilled white vinegar.

If you want your favorite pair of dark jeans to keep their color, add half a cup of distilled white vinegar to your final rinse.

8. Vaseline.

Are your shoes squeaking? Remove the insole and apply Vaseline.

9. Baby powder.

You can use baby power to remove oil stains from your favorite leather bag. Coat the stain with baby powder and let it stay overnight. The stain should be gone by morning but if some remains repeat the process.

You can use your fridge to store stuff like toners and eye cream. The cooling effect de-puffs skin and eyes. If you have puffy eyes and don’t have eye cream you can use frozen teabags or a chilled spoon.
