Management and Staff of Zenith Bank including its customers and partners, on Saturday held its first health walk in 2017 to promote the importance of exercise in the corporate world.
It was on the theme: “Health Walk…. Aspire for Ghana’s Future.”
Mr Henry Oroh, the Managing Director of Zenith Bank Ghana Limited, told the Ghana News Agency that the walk was organised because the Bank valued the health of its staff, partners and customers and urged all to work towards living healthy lifestyles.
He said good health could be achieved by adopting the right behaviours and also by positive thinking.
He said as the country celebrated its 60th Anniversary, the Bank hoped that the working class and all Ghanaians would aspire to live healthy lives to secure a very bright future for the Nation.
He called on Ghanaians to set aside all distractions and focus on the bigger goals and “let us improve the visibility of our various roles as individuals or organsiations and make our contribution towards nation-building”
The Managing Director said last year was a good year for the Bank, where they achieved a record breaking performance.
He said the feat could only have been attained through the collective efforts of customers.
He said the Bank had earmarked 2017 as a year for significant growth, especially in the area of customer service delivery.
He assured customers that management would up their game and even do more than they did last year, saying: “l assure you that tailor made products and services are being developed and enhanced to cater for the ever changing banking needs of customers.
The walk started at the Accra Sports Stadium, went through the other major streets of the capital, and ended at the Accra Sports Stadium.
A number of people consisting of staff of the Twellium Industrial Company Limited, Multipro Private Limited, Ashfoam Ghana Limited, Kasapreko Company Limited, The Stallion Group, Worldwide Healthcare, Del Hosptial, C&J Medicare and Fat2Fit made it.
