The series tells a story of a native village girl who desperately wants to get out of her ratchet way of life.
Funke Akindele-Bello who plays the lead role of Jenifa in the TV series, recently took to Instagram to announce her new show, Industreet which is also from her company, Scene One Productions.
And if the trailer is anything to go by, it looks like something we want to see
‘Industreet’ was created & directed by JJC Skillz and produced by Funke Akindele Bello and is a music-oriented television drama based on the African entertainment scene.
The show has a lineup of amazing actors and musicians entangled in plots that are full of intricate twists and turns and will premiere on the 26th May 2017
On the cast, there’s Funke Akindele Bello, Linda Ejiofor, Lydia Forson, Leo Ugochukwu, Daddy Freeze, Kay Switch, Charles Okocha, Tina Mba, Kunle Coker, Akah Nnani and a host of guest appearances from Niniola and Ushbebe to mention but a few.
Amoshine is on a TV show?
The best thing about the trailer we saw? Funke Akindele-Bello is leaving every trace of Jenifa on Jenifa’s Diary.
