Helping Hand TV Show: Faithful Fathers

In our traditional societies, “Fathers” play an integral role in the lives of families. Fathers stand in not only as the head of the family but also as an authoritative figure in the home. In fact, a father is the feather with which we fly further in life.

This week on the Helping Hand TV Show, the “Voice of Ability on Air for Persons with Disability”; Apostle Charles Hackman, brings his viewers the final part of his exclusive interview with Sergeant Ebenezer Gyamfi; a father of a daughter with cerebral palsy.

The birth of a child with disability usually presents parents with two options; either to walk out of the marriage or stay committed to make the marriage work.

In spite of the plethora of challenges Sergeant Gyamfi has faced within the past twelve years (12), he chose to remain faithful to his daughter with cerebral palsy and his family. In fact, Sergeant Gyamfi has proven to be an exceptional Father by deciding to stay instead of walking out of the marriage like most men in similar situations usually do.
