The RSPCA had to rescue 350 budgies from a house after their owner was taken into hospital this week.

The starving birds were found fending for themselves, flying around the home, when officials arrived.

RSPCA officers had to enter the home with nets and catch the birds – removing 359 from the home in Brighton, in total.
