A woman whose guide dog was wrongly banned from her local pub has won her fight for compensation.
Burnadette Clutton, 55, and her friend Edward Williams, 41, had gone to The Village Inn in Llanfairfechan in Conwy, North Wales in April last year.
However, they ‘left hungry’ after being told their assistance dogs couldn’t sit with them in the pub’s carvery section.
Afterwards Burnadette took the pub to court for breaching equality laws, and she and Edward were awarded £1,000 each.
