Wealthy antiques dealer admits strangling daughter Sophia Peters, 7, at home

A wealthy antiques dealer has admitted strangling his seven-year-old daughter with a dressing gown cord.

Robert Peters, 55, allegedly attacked Sophia while they were alone at the £1 million family home in Wimbledon, south-west London, on November 3 last year.

Sophia was rushed to St George’s Hospital in Tooting and placed on a life support machine but died the following day.
