One thing that nobody tells you about having a baby is that you suddenly become public property.
Not willingly. But firstly you will find friends, family and perfect strangers feel they can just touch the bump without consent.
Secondly, opinions, solicited and unsolicited, will come thick and fast and don’t be surprised if you find yourself in the middle of a supermarket shop unwillingly explaining to a stranger why you decided to bottle/breastfeed, use disposable nappies or defending whatever else they’ve decided to lecture you on.
