The former Portsmouth and AC Milan midfielder capitalized on a Timothy Chandler pass to score his side’s first after 43 minutes.
Serbian midfielder Luka Jovic came off the bench to register Frankfurt’s second in additional time as Niko Kovac’s side kept themselves in the top-four by moving just behind leaders Bayern Munich.
Boateng has lived up to expectation ever since making a return to the Bundesliga.
Eintracht Frankfurt are currently occupying the 2nd position on the league log with 33 points.
