Australian soap Neighbours has paid tribute to the late Moya O’Sullivan, who played classic Neighbours character Marlene Kratz inthe mid-1990s, and passed away earlier in January.
‘Moya was a legend of the Australian film and television industry. Australia’s favourite mum and grandmother,’ said Jason Herbison, the soap’s executive producer.
‘Everyone at Neighbours has fond memories of her and we are saddened to hear of her passing.’
Moya joined the soap in 1994 as Marlene, and became an integral part for three years until she left in October 1997, when the character went on a three-month cruise and never returned.
