Mastodon win Grammy for Best Metal Performance but miss out on Best Rock Album

Metal titans Mastodon finally won a Grammy Award on Sunday night after being nominated but missing out on three previous occasions.

The Atlanta, Georgia four-piece released their seventh studio album, ‘Emperor of Sand’, in 2017 and received two Grammy nominations as a result – Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance for ‘Sultan’s Curse.’
