Welsh Assembly is the best place to work for LGBT staff

Congratulations to the National Assembly of Wales, which has been named Britain’s best place to work for LGBT staff.

LGBT organisation Stonewall has drawn up a list of employers, that also included law firms Pinsett Masons and Clifford Chance, housing association Gentoo, Lloyds Banking Group, and Newcastle City Council.

The Welsh Assembly was praised for having a range of policies for lesbian, gay and bi staff, and for introducing measures to improve the workplace for trans employees.

For example, the Assembly has gender neutral toilets, and their system has been updated to include the Mx title.
