Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is understood to be on the verge of being sacked.
A difficult season hit a new low last night with his team suffering a 4-1 defeat by Watford. It followed a 3-0 home loss to Bournemouth, a run of five draws at the turn of the year and a League Cup semi-final exit at the hands of Arsenal.
Speaking last night, Conte challenged the board to dismiss him.
