Stop telling me to go on a digital detox; social media is actually helping my mental health

Having depression and anxiety has completely changed me.

Although I’d say I’m a lot more self-assured, carefree and confident than I was before my diagnosis, it’s been a lengthy battle.

And, at times, a very lonely one.
