Aaron Ramsey wants a significant wage increase on his new Arsenal contract after the club’s January moves for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Gabon forward Aubameyang joined the Gunners on deadline day in a club-record deal worth more than £50m – his three-and-a-half-year contract is worth around £170,000-a-week.

Mkhitaryan, meanwhile, is on a similar wage after he left Manchester United as part of a straight swap deal with Chilean Alexis Sanchez.
