Jose Mourinho decided against signing Alexandre Lacazette in last summer’s transfer window after a series of negative scouting reports were filed on the Frenchman by Manchester United officials.

The Portuguese tactician was weighing up moves for Alvaro Morata, Lacazette and Romelu Lukaku, before ultimately deciding to sign the latter.
