Nouvelle Optique Inaugurates Mechanised Borehole

Nouvelle Optique International Humanitarian, a Non- Governmental Organisation, over the weekend commissioned a borehole for Lamptey Mills community under Adam Nana electoral area of the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly in the Central Region.

The inauguration which was one of two mechanized boreholes to be donated to the community brought together personalities from all walks of life.

Speaking at the ceremony and marking his fifteenth borehole commissioning in Kasoa, the project coordinator for Nouvelle Optique, Mr. Abdul – Samed Fataw Nbo said the project was to benefit the community, not an individual or a group.

“I want you to take care of the project and promise that we will add some two more boreholes to improve water conditions in Kasoa” he added.

Mr. Nbo appealed to the community to ensure proper maintenance culture to enhance the longevity of the mechanized borehole.

He implored the community to continue riding on the wings of unity adding that their togetherness would bring them several benefits.

Moving on, Assemblywoman for Adam Nana electoral area, Hon. Diana Tetteh entreated all and sundry to take the opportunity to be custodians of the project by protecting it.

She thanked the dignitaries and all for being part of the ceremony.
