The Government of Ghana has announced that businesses in the country can continue to operate in the wake of the closure of educational institutions as a result of the coronavirus spread
This was contained in a statement read by the President on his second update on Coronavirus.
He indicated that while businesses are free to go ahead with their daily operations, it is imperative that they ensure all social distancing protocols between staff and clients in order to ensure their safety.
The President speaking on Restaurants, hotels, drinking spots, shopping malls and other public spaces said these places should observe enhanced hygienic procedures by providing amongst others hand sanitizers, running water and soap for the washing of the hands.

He used the opportunity to call on all Ghanaians to come together to help fight the deadly disease which has been declared as a pandemic worldwide.
