[COVID-19]: Educate Ghana Summit Joins Upper Manya Krobo District Assembly To Fight CORONAVIRUS
Educate Ghana Summit’s CEO Mr. Boadi William and his team has joined Hon. Felix Odjao Nartey the DCE of Upper Manya Krobo District Assembly, Asesewa to create CORONAVIRUS AWARENESS in the district. The District Information Officer is spearheading the team including The Ghana Health Service, NADMO, NCCE, YEA.
We began the awareness on the 20th of March 2020 at Akateng. So far we have been to Asesewa, Adwenso, Nyankomase, Akrusu, Otrokper, Akatawia, Akohia etc. The campaign is still ongoing.
Fellow Ghanaians, let’s do something for God and Ghana now at this critical moment.
HIV/AIDS, Ebola, Hepatitis etc came but we were able to attend church, school, Graduation, Funeral, Supermarkets, Malls, Clubs etc.
CORONAVIRUS/ COVID-19 has come and we can’t even go to church why? It’s very dangerous. Do not joke with a second.
Let’s follow the below *preventive measures* to stay healthy;
▪️Wash your hands often with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
▪️Cover your mouth and nose with your elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze.
▪️Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth if your hands aren’t clean.
▪️Avoid close contact with anyone who is sick.
▪️Avoid sharing dishes, glasses, bedding and other household items if you’re sick.
▪️Clean and disinfect surfaces you often touch.
▪️Stay home from work, school and public areas if you’re sick.
▪️ Increase vitamin C intake to boost your system.
▪️Use straw to warm water mixed with lemon juice to boost your immune system.

▪️Cough
▪️Sweats
▪️Tired
▪️Headache
▪️Difficulty breathing
▪️Aches
Please don’t waste time in the house as soon as you feel the above.
My Observation so far
Those in the rural areas are welcoming the messages unlike those in urban areas. This is very serious so I implore everyone not to play with this COVID-19. It’s a deadly disease be mindful.
EGS has done jingles in four different languages to make the awareness creation more impactful. Those are *English language, Twi language, Ga and Krobo language.*
Please, wherever you are do your best to create awareness to save lives.
