Ghana approaches December, the crucial month in which the fate of the next four years of the country’s development will be determined at the polls. At the presidential polls, the order of appearance of presidential candidates was determined and released close to a week ago. The NPP, led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will occupy the first slot. The NDC, led by John Dramani Mahama, will occupy the second slot. The controversial Sofo Kyiriabosom will be in the 3rd slot, and the list goes on. Take a look at these positions.

Each of these presidential candidates has a reputation. Each of them have why they are known for and what we are to expect from them if they should be elected but popular among them are the first 3 and perhaps the 5th one, Akua Donkor. Nana Addo has stunned Ghanaians with his free Shs policy. Because of how well, he has executed this, he will definitely tread the same good ground for Ghanaians in the next four years. John Mahama is known for not really paying attention to the education system if not for building infrastructures. Thus, he may build nice schools but produce students who will fail and write remedial classes. Kyiriabosom, being a pastor, well, is known for selling anointing oil among other things. As such, Ghanaians have mimicked the popular telecommunication gimmicks to send a message as the elections approach.

This is seriously hilarious. You will literally press your finger against a slot on the ballot paper. If you press 1, which is NPP, be assured of free Shs. If you press 2, well, social media says we’re heading for remedial classes. You could press 3 for GUM and buy anointing oil. Funny. Ghana is just too funny.
