Veteran Ghanaian Actor, Prince Yawson popularly known as Waakye has finally spoken after reports went viral that he was in a bad health condition.
Speaking in an interview with Kofi Adoma Nwanwani on his Kofi Television, Waakye revealed that although he fell sick, but is now actively healthy.
He added that, the December elections is about competence and ideas. He says the two leading political parties in the country have all performed tremendously well, when it comes to achievements, but the 2020 election is not for the National Democratic Congress and John Dramnai Mahama to win.
According to the veteran actor, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has performed above expectations and he deserves a second chance. He added that, the free Senior High School has been a major interventional programme, which has saved a lot of children who would have been school drop outs. He added that, the NDC under John Dramani Mahama plunged the country into Dumsor which affected several businesses in the country.
“There is a political animal in each and every one, almost everything we do as humans are full of politics. I’m not the one who changes political parties, I spoke about Dumsor which affected several Ghanaians, it destroyed a lot of Jobs and rendered many people unemployed, the NDC could not solve it.
So, the NPP came and told us they will solve it, they promised free Senior High School and all that. John Agyakum Kufour brought free maternity leave, and it helped a lot of people. Now Ghanaians are also enjoying free Senior High School. So, they deserve to continue”. Waakye noted
He added that, the NDC is making the world believe that, it was Akufo Addo who made the busines illegal, which is false.
“It is not Akufo Addo who said Okada is illegal, NDC made it illegal, so it would be better for them to accept that, it was a mistake so when they are given the opportunity, they will do it better but don’t wrongly tag the NPP which does not know anything about it”. Waakye added.
