Stephen Yao Mawunyo popularly known as Oteele, or Biggie, in the entertainment industry in Ghana is one of the sought after comic movie actors in the country who have carved a niche for himself for bringing laughter and happiness to the homes of Ghanaians.
He got the name Oteele from his colleague actor Yaw Dabo because of his stature. Oteele is very fat that earned him the name. He is widely known by Ghanaians for the comic role he plays in most of the movies he cast and that has fetched him some fame in Ghana.
He comes from a family of six and the third among the six children of his parent. His dream was to be a doctor but unfortunately, he ended up being a Junior High School graduate who had no intention to further his education due to his poor academic performance after school. He later decided to seek for greener pasture in another field to secure his future.
He is married to Nana Afriyie Gifty about a year ago. His wife is very beautiful. They have given birth to a boy who resembles his dad a lot. Their marriage ceremony featured a lot of movie stars which was very interesting event.
