Ever since the emergence of the deadly coronavirus, many countries have battled to contain the spread of the virus but thankfully over 1 million people have fully recovered from the virus worldwide.
According to the John Hopkin University Website, some 1,015,183 persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) globally have recovered from the disease.
Meanwhile, the total infections as at the same reporting date stand at 3,259,167 with 233,439 deaths.
As of today 1st May 2020, Ghana has 212 people who have fully recovered from the virus.

More than 3.8 million people in the US filed new claims for jobless benefits over the past week, bringing the six-week total since the beginning of coronavirus-related lockdowns to more than 30m.
The Eurozone’s economy shrunk by 3.8 percent in the first quarter, the biggest hit since records began in 1995.
Worldwide, the number of confirmed infections stood at more than 3.2 million, with some 230,000 deaths and more than 1 million recoveries.
