As we all know, we are in the election season. Very soon, Power will come back to all eligible Ghanaians to make a choice once again on who to entrust this country into for the next four years.
The good people of Ghana gave President Akufo Addo the chance to lead them in 2016. But his tenure is gradually coming to an end. He is therefore appealing to Ghanaians to renew his mandate for him in the upcoming elections to lead them again.
The President will face a stiff competition from his main opponents, the NDC.
The NDC are in the presidential race with former President John Mahama as their leader with the aim of getting a comeback into the flagstaff house.
This tells you that President Akufo Addo won’t find it easy at all as John Mahama is also eyeing a second term.
President Akufo Addo is currently in the Asante region campaigning seriously to win the votes of the electorates.
The Asante region happens to be the stronghold of the NPP and they are fighting very hard to even increase their votes in the region.
Meanwhile, Akufo Addo’s campaign in the Asante region went bad as he was passing by the Akrokerri Nursing training school.
The trainee nurses in the Akrokerri Nursing school stormed the street and hooted massively at the President’s convoy. This is actually in a viral video making rounds on social media.
According to what the nurses were saying, they were very disappointed and won’t vote again.
They were heard loud and clear sounting in the Twi local language “Yentu” thus they won’t vote.
A very Sad development there as they Hooted at President Akufo Addo’s convoy.
This is very disrespectful, How could the nurses hoot at the President? Is indeed a big blow to the NPP.
