I thought this was a Photoshop until I spotted him in the crowd. See how JM shakes Ashanti

Elections 2020 kick start in some 26 days time and who so ever thought things would be a cool chop for the ruling New Patriotic Party should rewrite his notes after seeing what happened in the Ashanti region yesterday.

The opposition NDC led by their flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama took charge in the strong hold of their opponent the NPP after a successful campaign in the Eastern region. Yesterday marked the first day of the opposition leader’s 6 days tour in the Ashanti region and the outcome was superb.

The truth of the matter is people could find it very difficult to believe the NDC could pull such a crowd in the Ashanti region, a region that had never be their favourite ground since the inception of the 4th republic. In fact at first glance I thought it was a photo editing until I saw former president Mahama right in the crowd.

As a matter of fact the NPP would never be comfortable at all as they would be wondering his the NDC could pull such a crowd. Check the images from the day 1 of the JM tour in the Ashanti region:

Looking at the kind of spectatorship the NDC are currently enjoying, can it be concluded that elections 2020 is a done deal for JM?
