[Throwback] See How Rawlings Reacted To John Mahama And Co At A Funeral That Has Got People Talking

Many Ghanaians have argued that the Late Former President, Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings when he was alive seems to detest the current management system of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). That was the reason why he refused to attend their Manifesto launch, meetings, campaign among other gatherings.

Why would a Founder of a party neglect the very same political party that he formed? Before you can answer this question, let find out the main reason why Jerry John Rawlings formed the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Rawlings when he was a military leader hate corruption and bribery and unconcern for the ordinary Ghanaian by politicians. This was the very same reason which brought about the Coup D’etat in 1979.

He saw that Ignatius Kutu Acheampong was not only corrupt but was relying so much on pre-colonial powers that led to economic hardship on the ordinary Ghanaian.

So if after he handed over power to Late Professor John Fiifi Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama, corruption is even worse in his party that he formed and upon advise they refused to adhered to him, why should he attend their meetings or campaign.

The picture below tells it all. Check his position with the other National Democratic Congress (NDC) members including Ex President John Dramani Mahama. He is even looking elsewhere and all indication shows that he will like a different seat, all because he did not like the leadership at that moment.

Late President Jerry John Rawlings hate pretending to suit an occasion and that is what was being demonstrated in the picture below. If not not that, he will prevent his wife Konadu Agyemang Rawlings from forming the National Democratic Party (NDP).
