Popular Ghanaian Actress Goes Blind!

Life they say is not fair. If life were to be fair Michael Jackson wouldn’t have died broke.

Maame Gyanwaa of cow and chicken fame have shared her story and how she went blind and it is a sad one.

She said one day she felt feverish and extremely cold. She thought it was malaria but upon taking medicine she realized she was not getting any better but felt dizzy and couldn’t see clearly.

All this while she thought she was feeling that way because of the sickness but one day she was watching television and felt she wasn’t seeing well in the eyes, especially in the left eye.

So she closed the right eye and what happened happened shook her a bit. Upon closing the right eye she realized that the left eye couldn’t see well. She saw the images on the tv screens as stretched objects.

So she went to the hospital and she was told she has Glaucoma. She was given medicine but according to her whenever she uses the medicine on the affected eye she realized that the eye was rather going worse and off.

She later realized that her right eye was also going off. This caued her to panic.

The more she used the the eye drop, the worse the eye became, so she went back to r four bedroom house that has reached lentil level. She sold that house very cheap but still her daughter died.

That is the more reason why she cannot afford the medications that will heal her dying eyes.

So she needs all the help there is in order to see well again.

May God restore the sight of Maame Gyanwaa in Jesus’ name. Amen.
