Even though, the walk brought up a lot issues, the current parliamentary candidate for National Democratic Congress NDC Ketu South, madam Dzifa Gomashie took her time to explained this vividly to the public.

A solemn walk was held in Ketu South this morning in honour of President Jerry John Rawlings-our departed father, founder and Awaklasu of the Aflao Traditional Area.
The Parliamentary Candidate, Chairman and Executives of the Constituency, led the people from the Toll Booth area also known as “One District, One Factory” in Atsiwuta in Ketu South, through the Agbozume township and parts of Klikor and back to the Agbozume lorry park.
Solidarity messages were delivered by some comrades and songs were sung in honour of our fallen hero.
The Parliamentary Candidate said, as a traditionalist and one who believed in culture, the former President deserved to be remembered as such. It is because, the former president was given a chieftainship title here in Ketu south by the Paramount chief of Aflao. Madam Dzifa Gomashie called on the participants to remember the wife of the founder, Mrs Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings and her children in prayer. The family is currently in difficulty time.
She asked for special prayers for Hon. Dr. Zanetor Rawlings who is the Member of Parliament and Parliamentary Candidate for Klotey Korley Constituency in these extremely difficult times.
