He shot to fame with his acting prowess and he’s still relevant because of this comic and satirical news even though the Ghanaian movie industry is crippled. Viewers of this show are fascinated by how the host pronounces his words especially words he is not familiar with.
A trending video of Akroboto was posted on Twitter by a verified FALCONS account. Falcons which is a Spanish new eSports team that is entering the current electronic scene with great force. The content of the video was a UTV content with their news anchor Akrobeto presenting a Sports news. This video is trending because of how he “murdered” a Chelsea defender Céser Azpilicueta in the pronunciation of his name.
The Chelsea Captain and Spaniard fullback found it very amusing and retweeted the video with a link to a 36 seconds YouTube video which is a tutorial to the pronunciation of his name. In the YouTube video which was posted 6 years ago, the Chelsea skipper with the five syllabic name grouped the pronunciation of his name in three which is “ATH-PILLY-CUETA” to school Akrobeto and other people who may find his name jaw breaking.
Twitter users reacted to this post with a lot of fun. Ghanaian fans of Akroboto are hailing him as a legend whiles his new found fans overseas are yearning for more of his videos.
