Amidst the ongoing National mourning for the former president and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) founder, JJ Rawlings, there is another trending sad news that is coming from the NDC‘s presidential running mate, Naana Jane stuns Ghanaians.
According to Professor Naana Jane who got to know about the sad news that took place in Odawna market via reports, went out to express her empathy and solidarity with the victims of the fire outbreak.
Meanwhile, a lot Ghanaians were stunned about the move from the NDC’s presidential running mate, Naana Jane over her kind gesture and also for visiting the victims of the fire outbreak.
However, hundreds of stalls at the Odawna Market at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra are on fire following an outbreak, Wednesday dawn.
The fire, which eyewitnesses say has been raging on for hours, has left residents of the area and shop owners at the market, also known as the Pedestrian Shopping Mall in shock.
Professor Naana Jane who was not happy about the incidence, expressed her concern through her official page as she visited the affected victims.
Professor Naana Jane confirmed the sad news as she pay a visit to the scene, “I was at the Odawna market this morning to express my empathy and solidarity with our hardworking entrepreneurs and traders whose wares and stalls were lost to ravaging fire at dawn.
“Listening to their harrowing stories and seeing at first-hand the full extent of damage made for a sad experience, but in all, we are grateful to God that no lives were lost”, she added.
“I hope we shall all be there for our compatriots to assist with the restoration and rehabilitation process”, she concluded.

Furthermore, it was noted that cost a huge amount of money was lost through the fire outbreak and the sad part is that the cause of the fire is yet to be made known to the public.
