This year’s election has been the most anticipated as every Ghanaian is looking forward to cast their votes for their respective political parties as a way of ushering them into victory.

The various contesting political parties together with their Presidential candidates are putting all hands on deck to secure their victory come December 7 as all preparations towards winning the impending election are still in session.

There has been several campaign tours and rallies organized by these contesting Presidential candidates as each look forward to winning enormous votes come December 7 polls.

Even though there are several political parties who have been given the green light to participate in this year’s election, the two giant political parties who have become household names are the NPP and NDC.

The opposition party which is the NDC is led by the Former President, John Mahama and His running mate, Professor Naana Jane.

On the other hand, the NPP is led by President Akufo-Addo and his Vice, Doctor Mahamudu Bawumia.

Nana Akufo-Addo is the current President of Ghana. He has embarked on several campaign tours and rallies as a way of meeting the chiefs, elders and township of the various regions and regional capitals to outline reasons why the NPP should be voted into power come December 7.

President Akufo-Addo has however campaigned for his party in numerous regions as he finally met the chiefs, elders and township of the Volta region.

The Volta region has been known to be the stronghold of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Party as they’ve amassed numerous votes in each constituency every election year.

President Akuffo-Addo’s visit to the Volta region came as a surprise as the people unexpectedly welcomed him with opened arms. The streets of the region were filled with massive crowd who mobbed the President as He continued his campaign tour in the region.

Most party supporters were beautifully dressed in their NPP attires as they cheer their party on. Some of the party supporters also brought along their placards with their inscription on them to showcase some of the reasons why the NPP should Ben votes into power come December 7 polls.

The campaign grounds were filled with NPP supporters as they gathered around to listen to what the flag bearer of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo has in stock for them when they win power in the upcoming election.
