Sad Moments MPs Carried Hon. Ekow Quansah In His Coffin For Burial Service To Commence (Photos)

On October 9, 2020 the Quansah family and the whole country were thrown into a state of shock and uneasiness after the new about the sudden demise of the MP for Mfatseman constituency, Honourable Ekow Quansah Hayford broke out. According to the witness whose name was not established, they were returning home after a campaign activity in about 4 communities in the constituency. The whole nation was saddened by this tragic incident because of his position in the country and how he was murdered. The late MP died at the age of 48 years.

His demise hit Ghanaians so hard as they expressed their deep condolences to his family and other politicians trooped to the family house to commiserate with the bereaved family. President Akuffo Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, John Dramani Mahama, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, Okudzeto Ablakwa, Haruna Idrisu and many others all waded into the reactions.

Ghana_News can confirm, the burial service of the late MP is currently ongoing at the Mankessim Astro Turf in Central Region. Many stalwarts in NPP including Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, Obiri Boahen, Honorable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and many others have stormed the funeral grounds to pay their last respect to their fellow member.

His death is one that would deeply be etched in the minds of Ghanaians who continue to be in disbelief over how he died. It was a sad moment when other Members of Parliament led by Honourable Ato Cudjoe carried their brother in his coffin for burial to commence.

As we communicate now, the tribute is being read by the wife Madam Ophelia Mensah Hayford, Children and the Nananom from all the four paramount stools.
