Prior to yesterday’s polls people especially from the National Democratic Congress NDC thought John Peter Amewu couldn’t take over their stronghold but just after the polls an Unprecedented famous win was declared for the Energy minister representing the New Patriotic Party NPP. This is the first time the New Patriotic Party NPP have secured a parliamentary seat on Volta land. We congratulate the member of Parliament elect for the people of Hohoe. I voted today at the St. Theresa’s primary school. I wish to commend us all for conducting ourselves peacefully and transparently.
We made history today in Hohoe’s political journey, My gratitude goes to everybody for making this happen; God bless us all.
