Nana Konadu (Extreme Left, with relations after church)
This epic throwback of former First Lady of the country is a whole vibe like they put it. It is a shot of her and other relations after church on one Sunday. She explains that they fellowshipped at the Ridge Church, Accra.
What is really amazing about this shot is that, apart from it being in black and white, nothing else in there gives a hint of this picture being taken in the late 50’s or early 60’s. The fashion sense displayed in the shot can pass for any generation including ours.
We can by this comfortably conclude that the former First Lady has been fashion conscious from day one. In this era, ‘fashionista’ would have been apt in describing her.
One thing that is also obvious is the fact that the family was a well to do one. Not only with dressing, but then, for the family to have fellowshipped at Ridge Church back then, says it all. Ridge Church back then, and to some extent even now, is a often for the elite.
Like they always say, time flies.
