Reopening Dates Of Schools Should Not Be Postponed

As we all know, Ghana and the rest of the world have encountered troublous times all due to this covid-19 pandemic which has profusely affected the economy and all other areas of our country and have lead to the demise of countless individuals in our nation and the world as a whole.

Many countries not excluding Ghana, have had to go on lockdown which has tremendously affected the business, agricultural and most importantly, the educational sector. As a result of this covid-19, many students have been deprived of the ability to acquire knowledge especially when referring to those attending free SHS.

This virus has created a gigantic imbalance in our educational system but I thank God that it’s dying away.

As we all know, the country has been battling whether the reopening dates of schools should be January 2021 or should be postponed to later months. The lazy and lackadaisical students are hoping and are of opinions that schools should be postponed to later months.

But I as an Individual believe that schools must resume in full by next month that is, January 2021. That will impose a great benefit to all students especially our final year students. Despite the fact that education is life but life is not education, students should be made to resume next month since this covid-19 will soon be history.

Hence, the minister of education should not postpone the reopening dates to latter months.
