The MP for Lambussie constituency, Hon Baligi Bright has made developing Lambussie constituency a “must achieve”. In his quest to achieve this dream, he has appealed to the government, NGOs, philanthropists, and individuals to contribute to their quota to help salvage the long lingering problems of the people in the constituency.
Education, jobs, road network, farming, good health, water, electricity, small-scale businesses for women are the priorities of the MP. Hon Baligi has vowed not to sleep over until these sectors are improved.
In response to this call, Madam Alberta Kpeleku a native of Chetu who resides in Cape coast has donated a set of football jerseys, footballs, mathematical sets, pencils, pens, exercise books, and sharpeners to the KG, primary school, and Junior High School to enhance students performance and the smooth running of the schools.
A representative of the MP, Mr. George Naluri received the items and joined Madam Alberta in presenting these items to the schools.
The Chief of Chetu, the District Director of Education for Lambussie, the Circuit Supervisor for the Chetu- Chebogo, representative of basic schools, teachers, and students of the Chetu schools and the entire members of the Chetu community.
Madam Alberta Kpeleku appealed to the community to help keep the school structure safe by engaging in regular maintenance exercises which could help keep the structure longer. Various speakers interacted with the community members.
She encouraged other members of the community who are in good standing to support the community in any way they could.
