Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has entreated the government of the day to pay teachers well as they are shaping Ghana’s future.
M.anifest’s remarks come following the viral “Our Day” note written by 9-year-old Oswald Gennuh which has captured the hearts of big brands in Ghana.
In the coverage of Oswald’s big day, it was revealed by his mom, that her teacher, Mr’s Appiah has been very instrumental in shaping Oswald’s life.
“Oswald is one child that I can say is a bit troublesome and doesn’t sit in class always roaming about, but I saw him as one of the children that I can take as my own, then take good care of him and love him,” Mr’s Appiah told Joy News in an interview.
M.anifest, who understands the impact, tweeted,
“Respect teachers. Pay them well. Don’t disappoint. They’re literally shaping the future.”
