Some few days ago, the new chairman of Ghana COCOBOD, Hackman Owusu Agyemang, on a radio programme revealed the salary of the COCOBOD chairman which is a staggering ¢75,000 gross a month.
This has broken the hearts of many Ghanaians who claim it is too much. This means the amount is even above what the president of the country earns.
Many are those who took to Twitter to register their displeasure with the amount especially in a country where there are a lot of other needs such as, bad health centres where babies die every day without any proper health care and many other things.
Here are some of the things some Ghanaians have to say about this revelation.
1. This guy did some quick calculation.
COCOBOD CEO takes GHS70,000 a month. That is twice the monthly salary of the president. And that of 23 medical doctors in Ghana.
