Van Vicker has launched a political career and successfully succeeded when yesterday (Saturday, April 29) he was elected Vice President of the Ghana Actors Guild.
The award winning Actor before the elections was seen campaigning for votes when he passionately spoke on Tv 3 about the necessary way forward for the Guild to gain relevance and significance in the lives of actors/actresses.
Forever beautiful ace Actress Kalsoum Sinare was also elected as the association’s Welfare Officer at a polls held at the Art Center in Accra. A position Van Vicker wanted senior Actor Papa Nii to win but he lost.
3news.com also reported that Veteran Movie Director Sam Fiscian was elected into the highest office of the Guild as its President leaving Abeiku Sago ( A man Van Vicker vehemently campaigned for) to nothing.
The newly elected executives have a one-year tenure to make good on the promises they made.
