Wondering which TV series to go get from your movie guy or download from the internet?

Don’t worry, I got you.  All of the shows I will recommend are fresh. They either came out this year or late last year.  They have all been rated highly by both critics and audiences, and most importantly me. They’ll definitely be worth your time.

Here are 10 amazing TV series you should be watching right now.

1. Imposters.

The series is about a con artist called Maddie who gets involved in romantic relationships with men and women before robbing them of all their money and fleeing. Things run smoothly for her until she gets involved with a man who she doesn’t know is an undercover FBI agent sent to take her down.

2. Designated Survivor.

Imagine a series that has 24’s Jack Bauer and Nikita together? That’s right. Designated Survivor stars Kiefer Sutherland who played Jack Bauer on 24 and Maggie Q who played Nikita. Plus it has a whopping 22 episodes. The plot is insane. Trust me, you won’t get out of your seat.

3. The Arrangement.

An actress who wants to make it on Hollywood meets a popular Hollywood actor who is in a Scientology kind of cult and starts dating him thinking she’ll enjoy the good life. But she has no idea about the kind setbacks that are about to come her way.

4. The Catch.

This one is on its second season now. It’s about a woman who runs a private investigation firm in Los Angeles, California. After becoming the victim of fraud by her fiancé, she is determined to find him. Her fiancé is revealed to be a master con artist working for a high-stakes international crime operation.

5. The Handmaid’s Tale.

The theme is set in a future where a lot in the world has changed.Widespread infertility due to environmental contamination has resulted in the conscription of young fertile women—called Handmaids who are assigned to the homes of the ruling elite, where they must submit to ritualized mating with their male masters in order to become pregnant and bear children for those men and their wives.

6. Billions.

Now in its second season too. It’s a full war of mind games and scheming between a billionaire and a state attorney who wants to take him down for securities fraud. This series is gold but you have to be the type of viewer that pays attention to dialogue in order to enjoy it.

7. Six.

If you love anything to do with soldiers and war, then this is your series. The series chronicles the operations and daily lives of operators who are part of the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), more commonly known as SEAL Team Six, which is one of the U.S. Armed Forces’ primary counter-terrorism units.

8. The Good Fight.

It is a sequel to ‘The Good Wife’ but you don’t need to have watched the former to enjoy this one. The series follows Diane Lockhart who is eager to fight back after an enormous financial scam destroys the reputation of herself and her goddaughter.

9. Big Little Lies.

Told through the eyes of three mothers – Madeline, Celeste and Jane – Big Little Lies paints a picture of a town fueled by rumors and divided into the haves and have-nots, exposing the conflicts, secrets and betrayals that compromise relationships between husbands and wives, parents and children, and friends and neighbours.

10. Lethal Weapon.

If you ever watched the Lethal Weapon movies, you will love the new series too. In the series, ex-Navy Seal and now turned cop Martin Riggs whose wife just died is paired up with by-the-book LAPD detective Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) in a partnership that is crazy to say the least.
