These Are The Nigerians Who Made The 2017 List Of Most Reputable People In The World

Global performance-reputation management consulting agency, Reputation Poll International has announced its inaugural list of 100 Most Reputable People on Earth.

This is a list of individuals across the globe that have amassed high reputation for themselves through their works and achievements. The list features individuals from diverse sections including policy, entertainment, leadership, education, business etc.

Of 100 people, eight are Nigerians and in no particular order, here they are

1. Akinwunmi Adesina

Akinwumi Adesina is the President of the African Development Bank. He previously served as Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development

2. Bishop David Oyedepo

David O. Oyedepo is a Nigerian Christian author, architect, preacher, the founder and presiding Bishop of the megachurch Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, and Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners’ Chapel.

3. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a Nigerian writer of novels, short stories, and nonfiction. In 2008 she was awarded a MacArthur Genius Grant.

4. Dr Okonjo Iweala

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is a Nigerian politician. She served two terms as Finance Minister of Nigeria and was previously Managing Director of the World Bank

5. Dr Paul Enenche

Paul Idoko Enenche is a Nigerian doctor and a minister. He is the founder and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, with headquarters in Abuja.

6. Obiageli Ezekwesili

Obiageli Ezekwesili is a Nigerian chartered accountant. She was a co-founder of Transparency International, serving as one of the pioneer directors of the global anti-corruption body based in Berlin, Germany

7. Pastor Enoch Adeboye

Enoch Adejare Adeboye is a Nigerian pastor. He was ordained General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 1981.

8. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, also known as Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II, is the Emir of the Kano Emirate serving since 8 June 2014. He was crowned as Emir of Kano, after the death of his grand-uncle Ado Bayero.
